Abstract
In this talk, I will present a unified theoretical framework for local quantum embedding methods, specifically encompassing Dynamical Mean-Field Theory (DMFT), Slave Bosons, and the ghost-Gutzwiller approximation. I will first provide a concise overview of these methods, followed by the derivation of their unification via a common free energy functional. Building on this formalism, I will discuss recent technical advancements and demonstrate how this unified approach provides new perspectives and computational capabilities for future research in strongly correlated systems.
